????Recently, Fujian Newland Communications Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Newland") and TerraInfo (a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, CAICT) completed the first incorporation of intelligent manufacturing data assets into financial statements for Tianchuang Intelligent Electronics Co. (the intelligent manufacturing center of Newland Technology Group). This initiative recognizes data resources such as production orders, equipment status, and quality inspection in accounting systems, empowering core enterprises and their supply chain partners to explore data-driven application scenarios and accelerate digital transformation.

????As Fujian Province’s first pilot case for intelligent manufacturing data asset recognition in financial statements, Tianchuang Intelligent actively aligns with national policies to integrate digital and manufacturingtechnologies. By leveraging smart industrial devices and intelligent manufacturing systems, the company drives data-based production and decision-making, injecting new momentum into the industry’s transformation.

????During the project, Newland and TerraInfo established a dedicated task force to conduct in-depth mining, analysis, and evaluation of Tianchuang Intelligent’s data resources. Leveraging CAICT’s Data Asset Operation Platform, the team performed data inventory, lineage analysis, compliance assessment, and cost allocation, ultimately achieving Fujian Province’s first intelligent manufacturing data asset recognition in financial statements. This milestone demonstrates the potential of data-driven value creation in smart manufacturing and sets a benchmark for the industry.

This achievement enables Tianchuang Intelligent to systematically catalog, manage, and monetize its data assets. By establishing a data-centric operational framework, the company strengthens its digital transformation capabilities. The recognition of data assets directly increases corporate asset valuation, enhances credit ratings and financing capabilities, and ultimately strengthens market competitiveness.

????The Spark-Chain Network (ASTRON), led by CAICT, is a national-level digital infrastructure supporting cross-border data verification and compliant data flows. Its Data Asset Recognition Service enables enterprises to build global data service networks through a single access point, ensuring seamless connectivity and compliance.

? ? ?Moving forward, Newland will deepen collaboration with CAICT to develop innovative data solutions, including data infrastructure, trusted data spaces, and asset recognition services. By focusing on sectors such as green energy (dual-carbon), automotive, and industrial supply chains, Newland aims to empower enterprises in transforming data resources into strategic assets, fueling the growth of the global data element market.
